Privacy notice

Effective date: October 26, 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by 7Data LLC ("we", "us"). This notice explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you visit www.7data.io or contact us. It is written to meet the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. Questions about this notice can be sent to info@7data.io.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect your name, work email, company, role, the topic you select, your message and, if you choose, a timeline and budget range. When you browse the site, our hosting and analytics providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and the referring site.

How we use it

We use inquiry data only to respond to you and discuss a possible engagement, and technical data only to run, secure and improve the website. We rely on your request to us and on our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries and keeping the site secure. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies, so there is no cookie banner. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which count page views and measure page performance without cookies or cross-site tracking and report only aggregated statistics. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels or targeted advertising.

Service providers

We share personal data only with providers that process it on our behalf:

  • Vercel: website hosting and analytics.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that form submissions come from a person, using your IP address and browser signals.
  • Resend: delivers the emails sent from the contact form.
  • Google Workspace: our email inbox.

Retention

We keep inquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you and then delete them, unless they lead to an engagement. Engagement records may be kept longer, typically 3 to 7 years, to meet tax, accounting and corporate record-keeping obligations, to resolve disputes or to enforce our agreements. Aggregated analytics, which do not identify you, may be kept indefinitely.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA give you rights over your personal data. We extend these rights to everyone, subject to local legal limits. To exercise them, email info@7data.io. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

  • Access: ask whether we process your personal data and get a copy of it.
  • Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: ask us to delete your data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we process your data, for example while you contest its accuracy.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format and pass it to another controller.
  • Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

International transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States, whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
